iTunes Plus upgrade - upgrade to DRM-Free iTunes
When Apple announced that their iTunes Store would be moving to DRM-free music, higher quality 256KBPS tracks, they also began offering the option to upgrade your individual tracks in existing iTunes library to the higher bit-rate and DRM-free iTunes Plus versions. Apple is now allowing users to upgrade your previously purchased Music to the iTunes Plus version on a per-track basis - at a cost, it still costs 30 cents to upgrade a track to DRM-Free iTunes Plus version and upgrading Music Videos will cost your 60 cents. You may also choose to upgrade entire albums, which are priced between $3 to $4.
Now new iTunes Plus feature allows users to purchase or upgrade to DRM-free tracks encoded in 256kbps AAC and then share it on as many computers as they would like, Unfortunately, many people were unsure of how to enable iTunes Plus, Apple didn't make it very clear how to enable iTunes Plus, here is a guide about how to enable itunes plus
Step 1.To begin with, go to your account page by clicking the button in the upper-right with your email address. When prompted, enter your iTunes password to progress to your account page.
Step 2. You should now be at your iTunes account page. As you may have already noticed, the first option on the page is iTunes Plus. Go ahead and click the "Manage iTunes Plus" button. On the next page, make sure the box is checked next to "Always show me iTunes Plus music and music videos when available”(this checkbox also can be used to disable or turn off iTunes Plus)and click "Save Changes".

Step 3.That's all there is to it! Now that iTunes Plus is enabled on your account, you'll now be able to buy iTunes Plus songs from the iTunes Store. any music and music videos which are available DRM-free will show a plus (+) sign next to the price, which is $1.29 for each track.
Note: At the beginning Apple required you to purchase the upgrades for all of your qualifying music all at once, whether your wanted them all or not. now Apple has dropped its restriction that forced users to upgrade their entire libraries at once, iTunes users who want to upgrade their DRMed library to iTunes Plus can now do so on a song-by-song or album-by-album basis. if that makes things easier for you.
